Picked up Anderson Valley's Winter Solstice for the first time this season.    As the photo shows, its not as dark as the name for the longest night of the year would imply. The beer is light for a winter seasonal with a sweet malt finish similar to a barleywine minus the alcohol burn. There's a new bill going through the state legislature to allow craft brewers to distribute their own beer - in limited quantities. AB InBev is being excluded due to size..'if it is able to gain that right (to distribute their own beer)...some of the smallest craft beers could be squeezed out of the market.'
