Finally! An Interesting beer post from Asia

Tibet Beer
Lhasa Beer
Barley Wine

Travelling around China, I am usually cursed with nothing more than Tsingtao. If I'm "lucky", I get Tiger. And that's not very lucky at all.

In Tibet, I hit the mother lode. Five new beers. Some were actually good. I had high hopes for the "barley beer" since most beer in China is made with rice (a sin comparable to aging white wine in oak barrels). Unfortunately, they make it with barley flour instead of malted barley. Don't ask me how.

Enjoy the photos.
