Fort Collins Pub Crawl Part II

Beer Luvvas,

O'Dells has a new tasting room with multiple sampler options.

The Co-Piolt Tray includes:

Nitro IPA - 7percent of bitter hoppy goodness! Surprisingly not bitter beer face.

Red Ale - 'added aggressive American hops' to the classic American-style red... Agressive may not be strong enough descriptor.

Tried the regulare IPA too... Not as bitter as nitro. Stronger malt character.

Cask Green Chili Pale Ale - not as good as the chili beer from Cooper Smith or Cave Creek.

Mountain Standard Ale - english roasted barley gives this a very robust malty flavor. 8.5 percent makes it a bit tough to swallow.

India Barley Wine - easy drinkin. Brings back great hard liver memories.

Bourbon Barrel Stout - a twinge more than a hint of bourbon which makes it nice. I'd age it at least a year.

Prost to O'Dell's new tasting room!

I envy your beer trips. One day I hope to be a passenger on another Harr bveer voyage.
