Tied House Cafe & Brewery: SFO Top 3

Beer Luvvas,

I can't believe that I've been so lax as to not include the Tied House Cafe & Brewery on my SFO Best Places to Get Beer List. I introduced a couple coworkers to the Tied House this evening, and they were not disappointed.

In addition to their wild game fair (gator, emu, wild boar, etc.), Tied House offers a strong list of beers (although their IPA is considered a seasonal offering). This evening, we were lucky enough to experience a special blend of their Ale & Porter - aged 18 months in Bourbon Barrels - Billy's Bourbon something, something. Just shy of fantastic.

As I've mentioned in some previous posts, I believe that these stronger, aged, ales should be aged at least 2 full years to allow the alcohol notes to melllllllooooooowwwwwwww just a bit.

Anywho - The Tied House is a great place to get beer in the greater SFO/SJC area, and I'd recommend it to any beer luvva in the area.

Prost to The Tied House and their Porter/Ale Blend aged in Bourbon Barrels!
