Widmer Cherry Dopplebock Review

Beer Luvvas,

It's Beer Thirty on Friday afternoon and I'm enjoying a pint or 2 with my mentor @ Widmer Gausthaus.

After all the buzz, I'm finally enjoying the Cherry Dopplebock. The 'malty sweet notes' are not quite intense, but are VERY noticable. I expected a stonger oak flavor, but its not so muted that its missing.

Enjoyable, but my next quaff will be the Hopturnal Emission Fresh Hop Ale.

Prost to Widmer!
