Amnesia Brewing, An Evening on the Patio

Beer Luvvas,

I just returned from an evening on the patio at Amnesia Brewing in North Portland, and I only have a few moments to log this excellent experience before a conference call with a coworker in China, so here goes nothing....

Unfortunately, they don't have an active web page (that I can find) so I can say little more than they have 2 regular IPAs on tap - one starts with a "C" and the other starts with a "D." This particular trip, they had a special double hopped version of the "D" IPA that was absolutely stupendous! My buddy Mickle and I followed up a pitcher of the Double (hopped) D with a pitcher of the "C" IPA that was also quite tasty.

What really shouldn't be short changed is that now it's spring/summer in Portland, Amnesia's patio is amazing! Basically, when they open the doors the entire bar is the patio (shaded) in addition to the former parking lot that has been converted to their pooch friendly patio (minus the charcoal grilling area for their pub grub). In addition, there is bike parking directly outside the brewery!

Prost to Amnesia Brewing and their summer time patio experience!

Copacetic IPA and Desolation IPA. Both tasty.

Thanks for the post and comments. We make a home brew that is nice and tasty as well.

I would also recommend using a porous surface sealer to protect against outdoor elements
