Beer Luvvas,
I know that I'm not the first to post this (Beervana), but I had my first Bud American Ale this weekend and I'll admit that I was surprised by the body, and relatively full flavor that this macro-swill brew brought to my pallet.
Granted, it was @ the beer garden after completing my first ever Pole, Peddle, Paddle race, but it was much tastier than the Bud Lime alternative that most of the sextathaletes were consuming; and it was good enough for me to go back for another couple rounds.
Am I going to buy Bud American Ale when I have other, micro/craft alternatives??? Emphatically, no. But it is good to see that the growth of the craft beer industry is getting even the largest, slowest macro-swilleries to rethink their product.
Prost to market driven product development!
