Happy Friday! Freebird and I met up with a couple old Harvey Mudd College friends at a New-Old friend here in Portland, OR. Old, in that we used to embibe there all the time. New in that it was the first time that we had been back since we moved to Phoenix 3 years ago. And New-Old, because it was the New Old Lompoc Brewpub on NW23rd!
It was great catching up with Jeffro and Scott on what we all had been doing since we saw each other last (over 15yrs for Scott). But it was also super good to enjoy the Brewdolph Winter Warmer, seasonal Baltic Porter, and long-standing Prolitariat Red. All excellent quaffs.
The Friday Clam Chowder was also as good as remembered, and the bacon in the BLT and Turkey Club was fan-tab-u-lous!
We've been having Vonage/Slingbox connection issues so I'm making this a quick post.
