I'm @ the Deschutes Portland Pub and about to taste off 2 different batches of Hop Henge IPA. It seems that the first batch only had 80 IBUs so they upped the hops for batch #2 to get 87 IBUs.
They bottled batch 2 in 22oz bombers which I reviewed last night. We'll see which I prefer on tap...
I vote batch 1. The floral notes are more present in this version and there's still plenty of bitter citrus @ 80 IBUs.
I've filled out a comment card stating such. Input into the brewing decions? Our server said that everyone prefers #1. Power to the people!
