The Downtown Portland Beer Scene just keeps getting better! The Friday after Thanksgiving, Freebird and I joined a group of friends to check out the latest PDX offering of dinner, a movie and craft beer all in one location: Living Room Theaters on SW 10th & Stark.
Unlike the McMenamin's Pub-Theaters, and The Academy Theater, Living Room Theaters eschews pub-grub for upscale tapas. The bay shrimp and avocado salad is excellent! But since this is a beer related blog, it must mean that their tap list is also exquisite: Bridgeport IPA, Hopworks Organic Lager, Laurelwood Tree Hugger Organic Porter, Terminal Gravity IPA and Rogue Hazelnut Brown makes quite a nice list! In the "not on the regular menu" category, I tried an Oakshire Espresso Porter. I expected some sort of coffee flavor, but there was near to none; although it was still quite tasty!
Also not on the regular menu was Bridgeport's Ebenezer. Freebird had a pint, or two?
