Beer Luvvas,
I'm so glad to be back in Portland, it's scary. I'm hangin' out in PDX (the greatest layover airport for beer) since my flight down to OAK is delayed - I believe due to fog. Which gives me time to write a little post about my Hair M experience last night.
My stylist is also a recent PHX escapee, although she was born and raised there. She said the transition from the sun to the rain has been easy, especially since the Portland vibe is so much less wasteful. Another good prop to P-Town.
Anywho, not only did I get a great haircut, scalp and neck massage. But I was able to enjoy it all while quaffing two pints of Broken Halo! What a great experience!
After that, I bopped on over to my future roomie's house (Freebird and I are living w/friends for a couple months while we get settled) to pick up keys to the pad. And since they'll be out of town when we arrive on Sunday, I got the "beer tour" - where are the frosty glasses (freezer), and where's the kegerator (garage). And at the end of the tour, there was a free tasting (one of the reasons we're living with these guys) - Mack & Jack's African Amber. Ah, it's good to be home!
Prost to Hair M and Prost to Kegerators!
