Beer Luvvas,
I'm back in Beervana for the weekend; and how excited was I when I found both Jubelale 08 & Wassail in six-packs @ the local Safeway??!! Very excited. I chose the Wassail and headed out to a friends B-day party.
One of the other bonuses about returning home to PDX is that once you arrive at a party, you don't need to sequester your beer because you don't mind if someone else grabs one or two of yours because everyone brings high-quality, craft brews.
One of the new quaffs I sampled last night was Stockyard Oatmeal Stout. It was a very smooth stout that would most likely excel on nitro. My preference would have been for stronger coffee or chocolate notes, but it was a very nice beer.
It's so nice to be home.
