UW Huskies are bad, but Big Time Brewing is good!

Beer Luvvas,

I'm up in Seattle for a weekend with SQHub - and I believe I'm posting from his account - and yesterday we saw some very bad football. Jake Locker broke his thumb, which means he can't throw the football. Maybe they should play him at linebacker and see if we can't keep the other team from scoring. A very disappointing return to Husky Stadium for myself.

However, before the game we caught a late lunch at Big Time Brewing, and that was a joyous experience! We split a pitcher of their Paxton ESB which was very smooth and went well with our sandwiches and chili. We had some time to kill before heading to the stadium, so I followed up the ESB with a glass of their Nemesis Strong Ale. The Nemesis was a surprisingly mellow quaff for the high alcohol content that it contains.

I was then able to close the night (drown my sorrows) in a Rogue Mocha Porter back at chez SQHub. Maybe the Raiders won't lay an egg today against the Chargers, and maybe I'll be breaking in two new coaches for my two sub-par teams next week...

Prost to good beer to escape bad football!
