Phoenix Happy Hour Review: Old Chicago

Beer Luvvas,

Well, it was a very large send off for one of my coworkers at Old Chicago on Friday afternoon. The best part was someone from the company was signing off on the expense report. Yeehaw! There's no such thing as bad beer, and there's nothing better than free beer!

Given that, I enjoyed a pint each of Hazed & Infused, and Lagunitas IPA. And then I quaffed a bottle of Dogfish Head 90 Minute IPA as a closer before heading home to pick up Freebird for date night (beer free, but some good vino at Kazimierz in Scottsdale).

I was most impressed with our service given our large party that took over 1/3 of the bar space, and the appetizers were very tasty, if not on the slightly unhealthy (aka very pizza based, except the spicy hot wings) side.

It's no 2 for 1 pints at Fibber McGee's, but Old Chicago does have a nice variety of both munchies and cold brews for your entire office party....especially if the tab is on the company!

Prost to Old Chicago! Prost to Company Sponsored Happy Hours!
