New Brew Review: Boulder Sweaty Betty

Beer Luvvas,

In our last BevMo! run, Freebird and I grabbed a couple new "summer beers" to give a go during the next few weeks (months) of 100+ degree weather in PHellX, AZ.

One of the choices was Boulder Beer's Sweaty Betty Blonde. Unfortunately, nothing on the label indicated the Belgian hops (Hallertau) used to brew Sweaty Betty. Therefore both Freebird and I were a bit disappointed with this quaff - although having beer in the pool after dark at 90+ degrees isn't too terrible a life.

So, it's unfortunate that I saw from Google Analytics that I've had a repeat visitor from....Belgium, and here I am blogging about how I don't like beers brewed from Belgium hops (aka all of New Belgium's brews).

Oh well, luckily this last trip included Hazed and Infused, and a case of Widmer Broken Halo!

Prost!
