Well, it's official. Freebird's state of employment is no longer tying us to Phoenix. It's now up to me to get a gig that will enable us to return home to Portland.
In celebration of her last day in her now old job, we met a couple of her coworkers out at Keegan's. Their tap list is pretty small: Skinny Dip, Widmer Hef, Guinness, Sierra Nevada Pale, Stella; but their happy hour apps are excellent!
We sampled their sliders, green chilli/chicken quesedillas, artichoke dip & chips, potato skins, bbq wings, and a lite nacho (chips & cheese only). They were all fabulous!
The misters made sitting on the patio pleasant, despite the 100+ degree weather, and all had a good time remembering the good, bad and ugly of working together for the past 18 months.
Prost to Freebird and her new job which allows her to work in Phoenix now, and in Portland when I find gainful employment back home!
