Beer Luvvas!
Thanks for reading! As of 9PM AZ Standard time, Hops & Barley Blog has had over 1,200 hits during the month of January! I'm glad you all have taken the time out of your busy day to spend a couple minutes reading my ruminations on our favorite malty libations!
I'll be honest that I'm quite astounded that even 30-40 folk are interested in sifting through my random beer-thoughts on any given day. The though that some are repeat visitors is more than a fellow beer snob can handle.
Tomorrow I'm off to Salt Lake City for another great Ski/Beer adventure! The third annual Dad's Ski Trip (myself, my father and my father-in-law - yeah, we all get along). It's been DUMPING POW in the Wasatch for the last few days, so - barring any injury - the skiing should be epic!
Also what should be epic, is the copious amount of brew we consume for the next four days. Both my "Dads" are quite the beer luvvas themselves. Although my father-in-law is also diabetic, so it will be entertaining (and slightly nerve racking) to watch the former chemist titrate his insulin to match the carbs contained in Utah's finest beers. (Do not try this at home!)
We'll probably start at the Airport location of Squatters since the last arrival of the day will be ~7pm SLC time and ~9pm EST. We'll need some grub and hopefully a pint or two of their GABF Gold Winning IPA!
Prost to the Beer Luvva Readers! And Prost to Skiing and Drinking Beer, ah Heaven!
