I haven't attended this festival, but it sounds like a worthy trip - esp. if you want to get some skiing in with your strong beer consumption: Vail, CO's Big Beers, Belgians and Barleywines Festival - January 10-12.
The Beer Here broke this story online, and I'm just passing it along...But as of this evening, Vail has 32" of snow (according to Skitiger.com) which might make it a good trip next weekend depending on incoming snow over the next seven days....
Odell Brewing and The Lost Abbey are the featured brewers this year....both offer fine stronger ales. Listen to their words of wisdom at the Brewmasters' Dinner Friday night.
