Beer luvvas!
Sorry for the long-time no post. But things have been busy....
Let's start the new posting trend with my most recent visit to a new imbibing location in the greater PHX/Chandler area: Marjele's Sports Grill. There are now two locations: downtown PHX & outside the Chandler Mall (much closer to ASG's home). The Chandler Mall location has a Boccie Ball court next to it's excellent outdoor patio (with multiple flat screens) - this is why people choose to live here!
All drafts and apps are half-price during Happy Hour (bonus), but the only worthy beer on the draft list is Widmer's ubiquitous Hefeweizen. It was a tasty treat today, since it's not on my regular brew menu (so available it's usually overlooked).
For it's outer-mall-ring location, Marjele's did attract quite the young, hipster, Scottsdale-esque crowd which made people watching another treat for the evening. I'm not adding Marjele's to the PHX Best Brew Locations, but I am going to recommend it for future Happy Hour excursions.
Note: Dan Marjele went to the same high school as Freebird, although she knew younger brother Jeff.
