A Request for Four Peaks Brewing...

Good evening Beer Luvvas!!

Yes, I'm finally back from doing battle w/9 Year Old Nephew from Michigan Germs and enjoying an Inversion IPA after an excellent day @ work & home (the pool is finally repaired)!

I must welcome my first blog comments not from the Mighty Jeffron (aka MCO hops&barley poster). Racquel - a PHX to PDX transplant (did I get that right?) - thanks for posting on hops&barleyblog!!!

However, I must disagree w/Racquel's review of Four Peaks Brewing in Tempe, AZ. I've been there multiple times and tried ALL of their brews...and found almost all lacking....But I must admit that ASG is in the minority here. The only brew I enjoy is the Hopsquatch Barleywine (currently on draft), but with it's higher alcohol content - if I'm driving (which seems to happen when Free Bird and I hit Four Peaks) it's one & done.

Luckily Four Peaks does have great food and an AWESOME patio - get there early until the dead heat of summer, then you'll have your choice of seats.

I feel that since I know I'm in the minority here, I'll list 4Peaks brews that my fellow beer luvvas enjoy: Hop Knot IPA, 8th Street Ale & Kilt Lifter seem to get the most consumption from my drinking companions. However, I'll need many comments on this post to add 4Peaks to the list of phx good brew locations...
