Ode to Captain Pilsner!

Good evening beer luvvas!!

Well, I returned from a long weekend w/the wife and discovered an email response from a new hops & barley blog reader, but long-time friend and fellow beer enthusiast: Captain Pilsner!

Captain Pilsner is a drinking buddy from the UW MBA Class o' 96, and is so named Captain Pilsner during one of the past 14 Oregon Brewers Festival where Captain Pilsner only gave a "thumbs up rating" to.....you guessed it, Pilsners!

The Captain is currently residing overseas - Germany to be exact - and he responded that my readers deserved to know about some good Pils...not my fav, but as discussed in previous posts beauty is in the eye of the beer holder....
