Good evening beer luvvas!!
I got duped! I wanted to try a new summer-esque brew and I saw this organic WILD HOP lager from Green Valley Brewing, so I thought I'd give it a shot.
After the first sip I was convinced that this lager may be certified organic, but it's flaava - or lack thereof - made this a brew that was not worth buying again. Once I googled Green Valley, I realized why I was disappointed....
Green Valley Brewing is "the organic certified brewery of Anheuser-Busch Companies, Inc." located in Fairfield, CA....A Rose, by any other name smells just as sweet - or bad in this particular case.
So, Prost to a Stinking Rose!!
A great restaurant (in SFO) according to Free Bird, but a poorly disguised macro swill beer in organic clothing as well!
