As the weather starts to get warm in Phoenix, residents have two options. The first is obviously cold beer. The second, only slightly less well-known is FLEE!
We'll be fleeing for Memorial Day weekend to Colorado, the land of Coors, Avery and last but not least the FRTH. The Falling Rock Tap House is a beer lover's dream come true. Tons and tons of tap beers. Colorado is the backbone of their tap wall with New Belgium, Left Hand, Odell's, Great Divide and Flying Dog.
The staff is sure to turn you on to something new if you tell them what you like. This was the first place I ever had Hercules IPA from Great Divide and I think ASG would agree, it's xtreme!
The good news is it's stumbling distance from Coors Field. The bad news is, Memorial Day weekend is still seven weeks away.
