Good evening beer luvvas!!
Yeah it's another day that deserved another beer, or two. Free Bird and I ventured to one of our favorite Chandler eating establishments: Firebird's - another chain but they do have a fabulous BLT salad; the prime rib is excellent; and every Monday all bottles of vino are half off!
But since tonight is not a Monday (although one could say that I still had a case of the "Mondays" goin' down), I decided to ask what they had on tap. I'm not going to recommend Firebird's as a place to get good beer in PHX, cuz the tap list is small.....
Buuuuuut, they do have Alaskan Amber on tap! If you ever wondered why a beer from Alaska would be good, take a trip to Juneau. If you haven't been but have been on a Caribbean Cruise, imagine the line of shops for cruising cruisers, a line of bars for local yokels, and then a really big mountain! Aka the only thing to do in Juneau - esp in the winter - is drink (and play the blues, the local bands are worth seeing in their own milieu).
The only thing that took long, was exporting their elixir.
So Cheers to a nice slice of meat accompanied with a bountiful barley elixir!
