Flagstaff Brews....

Beer luvvas!! I'm posting from Flagstaff, AZ this evening. I'm enjoying free wireless @ the Comfort Inn after a wonderful meal at one of two GrrrrREAT! places for beer in Flagstaff - which I guess qualifies as a ski town. It did snow on us today on our drive up from Sedona.

Back to the beer - we ate @ Altitudes Bar & Grill where they had, not one, but two Deschutes favs on tap - Black Butte Porter, and Inversion IPA. It was good to quaff a couple pints after a 4 mile jaunt around the Airport Loop on Table Top Mtn. just outside of Sedona. Gots to see the redrock when you get a chance.

Just down Beaver St. from Altitudes, is the Beaver Street Brewery which is the other highly recommended beer destination in Flagstaff. The food is excellent, and all their brews on tap are worthy of a pint or 2. I'd recommend the R&R Oatmeal Stout. And since Flag is 7K ft. above sea level, it's never too warm to enjoy a good Stout!

Heading to the Grand Canyon tomorrow.

Prost to Natural Wonders & good beer after a long hike!
