Enter the Wife - Cinderella Cone Red
Good afternoon, it's 5:00 on the East Coast so I might as well start Happy Hour now... First, let me introduct myself... I'm Free Bird, ASG's lovely wife of just over 1.5 years... I'll skip the mushy details and get right down to my beer tastes... I'm orginally from Michigan so for many years I thought Labatts Blue was the grandest beer of them all... Although in college I gravitated towards PBR, not sure if it was the price or the great taste... Anyhoo, all of that changed when I moved to Portland, OR after graduation... So many beers, so little time... After 10 years of experimenting, I'm a redhead... Meaning, I've never met a Red I didn't like (unless you actually think Killian's is a Red, in which case, stop reading and go back to MySpace). I'm sure I'll go into detail on all my red's but I'll just get this out of the way... Deschutes Brewery's Cinder Cone Red, is the best of the bunch... The bad news... It's seasonal (darn it!) The good news... It's in season right now! Yes, Basha's, Fry's and Albertson's in little 'ol Chandler, Arizona carry it! BevMo carries it, so go get a 6 pack and determine whether you're with me, or against me! I haven't refined my beer tasting pallet to describe what makes Cinder Cone so grand, it's smooth, it's refreshing, it's not Bitter Beer Face but it is flavorfull... Ok, it's Friday, it's Beer 30 and I'm sitting on my patio (God Bless wireless) with a Cinder Cone Red right now... Till next time!
